| Description: |
The Canadian Improv Showcase is Canada’s best short-form improv group. They have been touring for over 15 years and recently celebrated their 700th performance. During that time they have earned such accolades as being voted ‘best of the fest’ for both the Toronto and London Fringe Festivals two years in a row, won the Wide Mouth Studios Improv Competition and were selected as the group to represent Canadian comedy in Singapore during a cultural exchange.
What makes the group so great is their fantastic talent and group chemistry. Employing only the best comedic talent Canada has to offer they truly offer a show for any audience that is completely different every single show. The roots to their format were made popular by the long-running TV series “Whose Line is it Anyway?” but they take the interactivity much further and add a healthy dose of Canadiana, resulting in a fantastically memorable showcase. |
