- Fort Erie’s signature Bicentennial event will be the Grande Military Parade and Tattoo on Saturday June 23. This event will be the largest Grande Parade in North America, comprised of over 50 military marching bands from across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Running from the Fort Erie Sugar Bowl at the corner of Gilmore Rd. and Central Ave, all the way to Old Fort Erie, the parade will also include over 1,000 1812 re-enactors, parade floats, and displays.
The jamboree will continue at Old Fort Erie with a Military Tattoo, and the night will conclude with a firework display designed to replicate the battles fought 200 years earlier.

"A family event where there is something for everyone: Tractor and Horse Pulls a Running Sawmill powered by A Steam Traction Engine, a Working Blacksmith Shop, Antique Tractors, Gas & Steam Engines, Models, Antique Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles. For the Children there is Smiley the Mighty (Pedal) Tractor Pull, Kiddie Cart Rides, Clowns, Petting Zoo and Kid Games. There is an Arts and Crafts area and Trading Post, Flea Market, Looney Store and Souvenir Store. Attractions such as: the Log Cabin the Sky Hunters and the Canadian Horse. John Leonard's Military Band Organ and other entertainment are there to be enjoyed by all. There are food vendors and N.A.P.A.'s Ice Cream Shop and N.A.P.A.'s Bake Shop.
