[9:30am] 1812 Sailors on the Lakes Naval Event
- Description:
- Naval encampment will be on the grounds of Navy Hall and Fort George, with 5 tall ships (4 Brigantines and a schooner-1812 Squadron) and 22 longboats with 200 naval re-enactors.
Plans are calling for:
ºLongboat Processional Row (Saturday morning, July 14)
ºAssault landing exercise at Queens Royal Park (Saturday afternoon)
ºEvening tactical inside Fort George, plus
ºMany other activities happening throughout the day.
[11:00am] RCMP Officer Meet and Greet
- Description:
- Canada is known for many things but nothing is more notable than the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Come to Table Rock Centre, located at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls during the summer on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to meet a RCMP officer for photos and to answer questions.
